Looking to support a project or simply show some appreciation? Here’s what happens when someone donates to my humble blog:
(1) A personal thank-you. You’re thanked by name in my next post, because you’re awesome and deserve the recognition. If you’d prefer to remain anonymous, use a screen name, or want me to leave off your last name’s initial, please let me know in a message so I can respect your privacy.
(2) Donation direction. If you would like to fund a particular project or request a post on something I’m working on as a result of your donation, let me know in a message. I’ll not only prioritize that project, but also thank you personally a second time for your donation.
Future donation goals: In the future, I plan to offer exclusive subscriber content, such as recipes, videos, and other projects not available to my general readership. If you have ideas about what you’d like to see in this content, let me know!
A Quick Donation FAQ
Where do donations go? Directly to a project of your choice, such as (but not limited to) supplies for gardening, cooking tools, groceries for recipe trials, products I’m testing/reviewing, or even a wine you’d like for me to assess. If it’s a general donation, I’ll apply it directly to my most current project and let you know in my thank-yous exactly where it went.
How do I donate? At the bottom of this page is a donation widget where at this time, you can use a credit card to make a one-time donation to the site. Eventually, I will also offer a subscription option.
To donate, click on the amount you wish to contribute, and you’ll be directed to a secure checkout page through Stripe, a dedicated WordPress plugin. Once the transaction is complete, you’ll receive a confirmation e-mail.
